PCAW: "Five Days of Prostate Cancer" Campaign

The PCEC encourages not only yearly screenings, but also overall health awareness to lessen the risk of prostate cancer. In 2005, PCAW will bring additional attention to the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer by dedicating five days of the week to a specific facet of mens health, directly relating to prostate cancer. The five days are:

• Monday, September 19 General Prostate Cancer Awareness
• Tuesday, September 20 Advanced Prostate Cancer Awareness and Treatment
• Wednesday, September 21 Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) Awareness
• Thursday, September 22 Women, Family and Caregivers Day
• Friday, September 23 Know Your Numbers (cholesterol, testosterone, obesity, nutrition)
